MamaNeeto
...because you both had a little hand in this.

How it all began...

As our holiday tradition, Mr. & Mrs. Evans exchanged gifts with dear friends Mr. & Mrs. Hand.
For Christmas 2006, the Evans bought Mrs. Hand a beautiful peachy-orange blouse size small because no extra small was available.  When she opened her gift box & lifted out the shirt, she loved it.  Mrs. Evans made sure to mention that even though we could not find an extra small, it had a draw string in the back, so she could make it smaller.
She said, “That is great because I am probably going to be getting bigger.”
“Ah! What?  You’re pregnant!”
Smiles & hugs abound!
“Congratulations!  Oh, We are so happy for you!”

Now, to add some color, Mrs. Hand was born in Argentina, and Mr. Hand was born in Florida.  Mr. Hand & Mrs. Evans, both only children, have been friends since they were about 5 years old.
So, upon hearing that Mr. Hand would be a father, it was immediately declared that the Evans would be Aunt & Uncle or Tia & Tio keeping in mind that their child would certainly be raised
in a bi-lingual household.

Mrs. Hand had a very healthy pregnancy and the couple was very much looking forward to the arrival of their son.  At around her second trimester, Mrs. Evans started thinking about how great it was going to be to have a “Little Hand” as part of the extended family.
So, she very affectionately nicknamed him “Manito,” which is Spanish for little hand.
Finally, Little Hand was born!

A year later, for his first birthday, Mrs. Evans was hoping to buy "Manito" a gift: a baby bodysuit that would show that he was the son of an Argentine mother and an American father.
Unfortunately for Manito, no such gift existed.
Fortunately for the Evans, however, it was an opportunity to create, make, and sell a new product that attracts the attention
of the growing multi-cultural population of the world:

Customized Children's Clothes adorned with appliques of the national flag
of the parents’ or children's birth nation or nationality.
